ABOUT ME – Gyaviira Luwaga
I am defined by a fervent passion for societal transformation and strategic communications. Simply put — I am passionate about real change. From adorning impactful storytelling, innovative problem-solving, to establishing meaningful partnerships, across Europe, ASEAN to Sub-Saharan Africa. Using plans, research, teamwork, analysis, and culturally mediated approaches, I manage campaigns, media, events, craft socially changing policies and transform societies.
With a strong academic foundation and specialized training, I have developed expertise in strategic communications and leadership in complex environments. I am currently pursuing an advanced degree in Communication at Arizona State University, adding to my two advanced degrees in Business Administration and Graphic Design Visual Communication, alongside a degree in Industrial Fine Arts from prestigious institutions including the University Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, the University for the Creative Arts UK, and Makerere University Kampala. Additionally, my training with organizations such as the United Nations, Rotary International, and Coursera has further refined my skills in public relations, program communication support, data analysis, and research.
This interdisciplinary education and skill set have propelled me to collaborate with esteemed organizations such as the EU, WHO Regional Office Europe, UNDP, German Development Cooperation, Save the Children, International Rescue Committee, Plan International, Solidaridad, Rotary International, and numerous other nonprofits. My focus areas include the environment, climate change, WASH, gender inclusivity, institutional capacity building, peacebuilding, girl child empowerment, education, safety, healthcare, community development, and humanitarian interventions.
Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to sharing knowledge and empowering others. Whether as an author and editor for renowned publications such as the “Knowledge Management Series” or contributing theological insights to “mydailyreflection“, I infuse my work with both wit and wisdom. My passion lies in conducting deep dives into humanitarian efforts, biblical literature, the Eucharist, and communication for development, delivering insightful and impactful content. My in-depth analyses and articles on biblical literature, human communication, cultural studies, and the Eucharist can be found on my blog, with additional scholarly and opinion pieces available on ResearchGate. When it comes to bridging the gap between ‘them and us,’ and ‘us and them,’ I employ cognitive, interpersonal, intercultural, and persuasive approaches to foster engagement, influence, and sustainable impact.
Building on sharing knowledge and empowering others, I thrive at helping organisations deliver impactful communication through global strategic approaches, diverse content creation, effective event management, ensuring brand consistency, impact evaluation, cultural assimilation, issue resolution, affective internal communications and continous team support and development. I’m passionate about teaming up with you to create a more sustainable and fair world. Ready to make magic happen? Contact me at hello@glutconsult.com.

“Mr. Luwaga is very proactive and at the same time accommodative of others’ ideas. In our programme, many of the stakeholders were transport specialists and very few of us had any C&V experience. However, Mr. Luwaga adopted a trainer’s approach where he needed us to develop specific messages… he would actually train us behind-the-scenes on how to communicate better. “
Fiona Nakasiga
Infrastructure Advisor European Union
“I feel a sense of pride at what we achieved working together for the World Health Organisation’s Regional office. Thank you for enriching the content of our materials and for Great teamwork.”
