I advise development institutions on strategic communications, knowledge management and organisational learning for complex, multi-country programmes. Over 13+ years, I have supported more than 40 organisations—including the European Union, GIZ, Save the Children and WHO—to turn technical evidence into clear narratives, executive content and knowledge products that strengthen visibility, stakeholder engagement and decision-making across Africa, Europe and Asia.
MY PRACTICE
What I do
I advise development institutions on strategic communications, knowledge management and organisational learning for complex, multi-country programmes. I translate technical evidence, policy priorities and operational results into clear narratives and practical knowledge products that strengthen visibility, stakeholder understanding and decision-making.
My work includes more than 250 executive communication and knowledge products for organisations including the European Union, GIZ, WHO, Save the Children, UNDP, Plan International and the International Rescue Committee. Assignments span climate action and finance, gender equality, WASH, health, education, livelihoods, peacebuilding and humanitarian response.
My multidisciplinary training combines business strategy, communication, applied research and visual design. This helps me connect institutional priorities with audience insight, editorial judgement and strong presentation.
I work with senior leaders, country teams, technical specialists, civil society, communities and media partners. My role often includes shaping communication strategies, editorial priorities and content calendars, and advising teams on institutional voice and stakeholder engagement.
I also produce executive briefs, reports, policy and knowledge products, thought leadership, digital campaigns and public-facing content. Practical performance reporting connects reach, engagement and media visibility with lessons for improvement.
My approach is participatory, research-led and culturally grounded. I combine strategic advice with hands-on delivery so organisations can communicate consistently, respond effectively and demonstrate the public value of their work across diverse countries, sectors and audiences.
MY ETHOS
Beyond Consulting
Beyond consulting, I contribute to knowledge sharing through research-informed writing on strategic communication, C4D, knowledge management, organisational learning and international development. I have authored and edited the Knowledge Management Series and publish reflective work through Medium.
Through Medium and ResearchGate, I share practical analysis intended to make complex ideas accessible and useful to practitioners, institutions and wider public audiences.
Creativity and visual thinking are central to my work. My background in design helps me see how narrative, structure, typography and presentation can turn technical material into experiences people can understand and act on.
I am also the author of Communicating for Change: Strategic Communication for Social and Development Impact and Encountering Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. Together, these works reflect a commitment to disciplined inquiry, clear communication and ideas that support both professional practice and personal reflection.
What fuels me? Helping institutions turn evidence into communication that includes people, supports better decisions and creates lasting public value.

MY PASSION
Strategic Communications
Strategic communication is where I bring together institutional strategy, technical evidence, stakeholder insight and editorial judgement. I help organisations clarify what matters, who needs to hear it and how communication can support programme and policy objectives.
My assignments span regional communication strategies, executive and thought-leadership content, knowledge products, digital campaigns, events, media engagement, internal communication and capacity building.
I also establish practical systems—including editorial calendars, approval workflows and performance reporting—that help teams communicate consistently and learn from audience response.
Much of my experience involves multi-country African programmes and international partners. I adapt communication across institutional, cultural and sector contexts without losing the integrity of the central message.
Whether the need is senior advisory support, executive content, a regional campaign or stronger evidence of communication performance, I make complex work more visible, credible and useful to the audiences that matter.
